Kevic is one of our Class of 2027 Season Seniors, and his first session was all about two things that are a big part of who he is—hunting and family. 🤍

We started his senior portrait journey at a place that is incredibly special to him and his family—their own family property.

The skull you see in these images is from a mountain lion Kevic hunted right there on their property, and the antlers were another fun piece of his hunting story to bring along. I love when senior portraits aren't just about taking pretty pictures, but actually tell the story of who our seniors are and what they love.

And then there was this creek… 😍

I could honestly sit right here with a book and stay all day. The sound of the water rushing over the rocks, followed by the peaceful calm beneath the little waterfall, was absolutely incredible. It was one of those places that makes you slow down, take a breath, and appreciate where you are.

What a beautiful way to begin your senior year, Kevic! I can't wait to see where your next session takes us.

The beautiful Moore family! 🤍

When senior portraits happen, we most certainly try to make family portraits happen, too! Because while this season is all about celebrating your senior, it’s also such a special time to document the people who have been beside them every step of the way.

Kevic is one of our Season Seniors this year, and his very first session took us to a location that holds a special place in the hearts of his family. This beautiful creek, the rocks, the trees, and even the heavy smoke in the air created the most gorgeous backdrop for their family portraits.

There is just something extra meaningful about photographing a family in a place that already holds memories for them. ❤️

Two girls. Two countries. One unforgettable summer. 🤍

Aubrey & Molly graduated high school this year, and even though they live in two different countries, they were lucky enough to spend a few precious weeks together here in Boise this summer. And if you know these two, you know they didn’t waste a minute of it!

They filled their time with adventures, laughter, memories, and all the little things that make a summer with your best friend so special. And, of course, they had to get creative… including painting their own outfits with a little Noah Kahan-inspired flair. 🎨🎶

Because these are the moments I hope they remember years from now.

The inside jokes.
The spontaneous adventures.
The outfits they painted together.
The endless laughter.
The feeling of having your very best friend right there beside you.

Life after high school is going to take these girls in different directions, different places, and maybe even different countries again. But what a gift to have had this summer together—to make memories that belong entirely to them.

Aubrey & Molly, I hope you always look back on this season of your lives and remember just how much fun you had being young, free, and together. 💕

It’s their kind hearts. Their beautiful souls. Their love for family. Their humility. And the way they appreciate the little things in life every single day.

They truly don’t seem to take anything for granted. Maybe they do—we all have those moments—but from an outsider looking in, what I see is gratitude. A genuine appreciation for life, for each other, and for the time they get to spend together.

And honestly? That’s something pretty special to witness and even more special to photograph.

How is it possible that these kids we’ve watched grow up are suddenly packing their bags and heading off to college?! 😭❤️

Peyton was one of my 2026 seniors, and I’m pretty sure she has officially moved into her dorm and started this next big adventure at Cal Poly Humboldt. HOW is that even possible?! 🥹🎓

For her final session, we wanted to capture this beautiful season of life—and all the little pieces that make Peyton uniquely Peyton. 🤍

We started among the gorgeous spring blooms, with Peyton soaking in all that beauty and sunshine. 🌸 Then, of course, we had to bring in her twin sister and her family to capture the people who have been by her side through it all.

And I absolutely love that she brought along her Cal Poly Humboldt sweatshirt. There’s something pretty special about seeing a senior wearing the sweatshirt of the college she’s about to call home. It makes this whole “growing up” thing feel very real! 🎓💚

Peyton is beautiful inside and out, and it has been such a gift getting to watch her grow through this season of life.

I’m going to miss seeing this girl on the other side of my camera, but I have a feeling she’s going to do some pretty amazing things at Cal Poly Humboldt and beyond. ✨

Peyton, go chase the dreams, embrace the adventure, and make your mark. Your next chapter is going to be a good one. 🤍

Liam is one of my 2027 Season Seniors, and I couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful place to begin his senior year of sessions. ❤️

His first session took us to his family’s special property in Round Valley—a place where they spend so much time and have created so many memories. When a location already holds meaning for a family, I LOVE getting to incorporate that into their senior portraits.

We photographed Liam at his special corner of the pond, affectionately known as “Liam’s Cove,” with his dirt bike, and of course, plenty of photos showcasing just how handsome he is and who he is this season of life! 😍

The air was incredibly smoky that evening, but somehow it made for the most beautiful, soft evening light. And honestly, being invited into a place that means so much to a family is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

Thank you, Liam and family, for inviting me into such a special place and allowing me to capture the beginning of this exciting year. ❤️

School started this week, which means Liam’s senior year is officially underway! I’m sure he’s ready to make the most of it. Bring on senior year, Liam! 🎓🙌

This is what it looks like when family portraits are a priority. 🤍

The Okelberrys value their family photographs—and they’re always up for an adventure. So this year, we headed back to the Oregon Coast, but this time we explored the very southern coast and made our way to Secret Beach.

We giggled our way through the tides as the water crept higher and higher, carefully navigating around other families and making memories along the way.

And honestly? This is the good stuff.

The laughter. The adventure. The slightly chaotic moments. The people you love most—all together.

And now they have those memories to look back on—not just digitally, but printed and hanging in their home.

Because here’s the truth: all the planning happens on the front end. The fun happens at your session.

Can we just agree that sending your kid off to college should come with a pause button?! 😭❤️

Riley was one of my 2026 seniors, and I’m pretty sure she’s moving into her dorm this week. HOW is that even possible?!

For her final session, we made sure to capture all the people (and pups!) who make her who she is. 🤍

We started in the most beautiful blooming orchards—first with Riley on her own, then with her twin sister, and finally with her whole family. 🌸

And because no senior session is complete without the furry family member, we finished up back at my studio yard with her dog. 🐾

Riley is one of those people who is just a bright ray of light. She is beautiful inside and out, and spending time with her is an absolute gift.

I’m going to miss seeing this girl on the other side of my camera, but I have a feeling she’s headed off to do some pretty BIG things. ✨

Can I tell you a little secret? Your kid can miss a soccer practice. 😳⚽️

There. I said it.

I know… family pictures can sound SO stressful.

Nobody wants to listen to their family complain.
Nobody wants to figure out what everyone is going to wear.
Nobody wants to be in front of the camera for hours on end (hint: we aren't shooting for hours).
And then there's the biggest question… What are we even going to do with all these pictures?

And on top of all that, everyone is going in different directions with school, sports, work, activities, and life.

I get it. I lived it.

When my girls were still at home and both were playing competitive soccer, we made family photography a priority—and yes, sometimes that meant missing a practice or even a game.

And guess what?

Everyone survived. 😂

Because someday, you're going to look back and realize that the practice was just a practice… but that photograph of your family together is something you can't recreate.

And here's the other secret: you don't have to figure it all out yourself.

When you work with me, we plan together BEFORE your session. We talk about locations, outfits, what matters to your family, and how to make the experience run smoothly so you're not showing up wondering what the heck you're supposed to do.

You just have to trust me and show up. I'll take it from there. 🤍

And I have to tell you what a senior boy said to his mom this weekend:

"I've dreaded senior pictures for 3 years, but that was really fun."

THAT. 🥹

If I can take a teenage boy who has dreaded pictures for three years and make him say that, I think we can make your family session pretty darn fun too.
