And I’m off to chase some Wyoming sunsets, spend some time with my mom and papa. Spend some much needed time with my best girl and her guy and reset my heart a bit.
Cancer is an awful thing and my mom has been through it. Throw in a little heart scare and I would say this trip is perfectly timed.
I will be checking messages occasionally, however, I am intentionally stepping back until August 1.
While I’m away I will be picking up the camera just for fun and doing some writing. Sometimes stepping away means seeing things more clearly.

My job is definitely the coolest! If you know me, you know that families and animals are my favorites and these longhorns have my heart for sure. It was the best morning after a really rough couple of days. Cheaper than therapy and way more fun!

Meet your Eagle Rodeo media team! I think I can easily say that we worked harder than any year previously, we had a ton of fun, had a bit too much bourbon a few of those nights and captured all of the things for you!
A special thank you to Rule Studios in Garden City for the beautiful embroidery on our shirts and for Ellis Longhorn Ranch for their generous sponsorship for those shirts! Dwayne Ellis also owns American Family Insurance in Eagle and is truly the very best! It is such an honor to have their logos on our shirts!
Rodeo may be over but we are still culling thousands of images and video that we will be rolling out over the next few months, stay tuned!

I see this family a couple of times a year and I always look forward to it! The kiddos have gotten to know me and they are instantly comfortable and we can jump right into our session. They always know that I will let them lead a bit and bring their ideas to life. That is key when photographing kiddos, let them be exactly who they are.
I know it can be a challenge getting the family all together for pictures but the more you do it, believe it or not, the less stress it is. Added bonus is this, we are far less worried about perfection. We just focus on the moment.
I would really like to encourage you to book that session! It doesn't have to be with me, there are tons of great photographers in the valley, just do it. You will never regret it!
