And yes, I absolutely got in the water for some of these shots… and honestly, I loved every second of it. 😂🌿 There’s something so magical about being willing to get a little wet to create the shot.

The smoke has been no joke lately. 😅

I had a session yesterday, and while it was definitely still smoky, it ended up being a little better than I was expecting. We made the best of it, and I’m so grateful we were still able to capture some beautiful moments.

I’m curious… how is everyone handling all of this smoke?

Are you staying inside until it clears, wearing masks when you go out, running air purifiers 24/7, or escaping town if you can? I’d love to hear what you’ve been doing because I know we’re all feeling it.

The days of chubby cheeks may be gone, but these years are worth remembering too.

There’s something so special about this in-between stage. They’re big enough to have their own personalities, jokes, and interests, but they’re still your boys. They’ll still throw an arm around Mom, laugh with Dad, and make memories you’ll want to hold onto forever.

One of my favorite things is when a family says they want their photos to feel like them—real, relaxed, a little chaotic, full of silly smiles and genuine moments. I love that so much.

Because this season of life is beautiful exactly as it is. The laughter, the mess, the wiggles, the in-between moments that make your family yours. Those are the memories worth capturing.
