There’s something so beautiful about connection.

The kind that isn’t always loud or perfect. Sometimes it’s found in the way he pulls you close. The way you laugh together. The way you can just be with someone who knows all the versions of you and still chooses you again and again.

Life gets busy. We get caught up in schedules, responsibilities, kids, work, and everything in between.

And sometimes, we forget to slow down and remember US.

That’s one of the things I love about photographing couples. For just a little while, you get to put everything else on pause and focus on the person beside you.

The connection. The laughter. The love story you’re still writing together.

And years from now, these photos won’t just remind you what you looked like.

They’ll remind you how it felt to be loved like that.

Fun fact - I have been a nurse since I was 19 years old!
And while I currently do not work as a nurse, I remember very well how much nurses pour into their patients and everyone else around them... (often leaving themselves on the back burner)
So when I get to photograph a nurse, and get the chance to pour some of that attention, love, and care back into them, it feels extra meaningful!
