Thank you to all the parents who came out to have their child photographed this past weekend, I took 24 hours off from the long day and am now working diligently to get the edits done before printing! With the wedding season approaching, I ask myself, "Why do you keep coming back to shoot weddings?" Why? It's moments like these that ground me and remind me that I'm human. The feelings and emotions.. The ups and downs.. The chaos of the day and being there with my camera to capture it for the families to look back on later.. Small engine experts over at Stover's Motors in Boone stopped by the studio to get some quick headshots done for some branding deals they have coming in the future. These two killed it during the shoot! Both Josh and Tyler looked tough and professional--which is just what I would want in someone servicing any of my small-engine machines.

There’s something about medium format film that makes historic architecture feel even more alive — every frame intentional, every detail earned. Boone, Iowa, you clean up pretty.
