I was greeted by this guy as soon as I walked up to the entrance of the gardens. (Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs). Good thing I had a camera close by b/c he didn't stay on display for very long. One lady who ran back to her car to retrieve her camera, came back only to discover he had put down his plumage and was walking on, in pursuit of the apple of his eye...his lady friend!

I do love to travel. And when I came across this chapel in Hot Springs, AR I was amazed by it. I ended up spending quite a lot of time in it absorbing the magnificence of it and experiencing the feelings it brought. I had to capture some of its beauty in photos.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at my beloved Oak Alley Plantation in south Louisiana. Even in the dead of winter, this place is the most beautiful and dear to my heart. So peaceful and serene, and very elegant. Loved it since I was a child. This was my first time staying the night on the grounds, and I hope to do it again another time.

I've known "Kimmy" since she was 3 years old. So when she said she needed some photos for her portfolio, I was excited to help her out with that. She has been working extremely hard in college the last few years, and has grown up to be one very sweet, thoughtful, intelligent, and intellectual young lady. I really enjoyed spending a little time catching up with her on this shoot.

The baby gator was kinda cute too! They're so sweet when they're little. haha

Seems every February I start longing to see this bald eagle again. I enjoy visiting him, and I love it when he "talks" back to me. He was very preoccupied with wanting his supper this day, but he did talk to me, and then I got to watch him eat. We were both happy.

A full snow moon and eclipse, and we are still anticipating a comet fly-by! A special night indeed.
