As a teacher, it is rare that I have the energy to stay up late on the weekends during the school year. But when I found out three absolute ICONS formed a new band, and were playing in Boston, I knew I needed to see Howl Owl Howl! Plus, I started learning guitar a year ago, so there was no way to resist the chance to see the magic happen up close (and drool over their gear)!
The last time I saw Darius Rucker perform was from lawn seats at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center when Hootie & the Blowfish played there in 1996. As you can see from the pictures, I was MUCH closer this time!
These were just on my phone but they do make me wish I had the energy to stay up late to do actual concert photography. I would have LOVED to have photographed this with my big cameras and my RF 28-70 F2!
