To be young, beautiful, in love, and surrounded by an incredible family on your wedding day in Vermont.

R & H’s wedding was the perfect balance of everything that matters—family, endless smiles, amazing food, beautiful Vermont landscapes, and so much love.

It was a small and intimate celebration on one of what it felt like the hottest summer day! Their ceremony was beautiful, personal, and so lovingly embraced by everyone around them.

There is such a responsibility that comes with being invited into moments like these—to observe them, preserve them, and photograph the little pieces of a day that will eventually become memories.

And I wouldn’t trade that responsibility for anything. I feel incredibly honored every time a couple trusts me to tell their story.

Story time…

I am so bad at social media. Maybe it’s an ‘80s kid thing? I don’t know. We grew up being told not to talk to strangers on the internet… and now my job is basically, “Hi strangers! Here’s my work!”

I’m trying to get better at it because, truthfully, this little business means so much to me. The hardest part isn’t taking the photos—it’s remembering to actually post them. And let’s be honest… self-promotion can feel a little like standing up and yelling, “LOOK WHAT I DID!”

But every now and then I look back at a gallery like this and think… okay, maybe I should share it. ✨

There is something incredibly special about weddings held on private family estates—surrounded by the people who’ve loved you the longest, under trees that have witnessed generations of memories, with laughter echoing across the lawn. They’re intimate, meaningful, and remind me that the most beautiful celebrations aren’t about extravagance—they’re about connection.

So here’s me trying to be better at social media… one wedding, one story, and one awkward caption at a time.

Climbed onto the back of a truck to create this one… and it’s still one of my favorite images I’ve ever captured.

I took this photograph during my years living in North Georgia, and I still come back to it often. The softness of the long grass, the quiet intimacy, and the feeling that, for just a moment, the rest of the world disappeared.

These are the moments I love creating—artful, intentional, and timeless.
