Transparency builds trust. And trust is what helps people take the next step.

In this snippet from a recent brand message video for a Boston immigration law firm, the team shares something we believe strongly in too:

When clients understand their options, their process, and what to expect, they feel empowered instead of overwhelmed.

That’s exactly why education-driven messaging works so well on video and in video marketing in general.

As video strategists, we help professionals translate complex services into clear, human stories that build confidence before someone ever schedules a consultation. And for law firms especially, that clarity can make all the difference.

Because whether it’s legal guidance or video marketing… transparency is what turns attention into trust.

“The sense of community is what really stood out.”

That’s exactly what we aim to capture through event videography, especially for cultural events like Lunar New Year.

This snippet video clip was from a Lunar New Year event recap video where the goal wasn’t just coverage, it was connection. We wanted to highlight not just the event, but the people, voices, and shared experiences that is almost like a video testimonial.

As a Boston video production company, we focus on helping organizations use event videos to highlight people, culture, and shared experiences that bring different communities together.

With Lunar New Year right around the corner, this is what intentional event videography can look like when it’s done with purpose.

Throwback Thursday to when we were filming with the team, conducting interviews both in front of their beautiful background wall as well as in their laboratory.

This is a behind-the-scenes shot of our video production set, a two camera setup, conducting interviews (we filmed b-roll after we conducted the interviews).

Their entire team were such a pleasure to work with, great vibes and we were geeked out about their tech and labs (which we'll show in a future video snippet).

Thank you Twyla for the amazing testimonial! We love to be able to work with clients where they are able to be their authentic versions of themselves because they truly show who they are so they can attract the right type of people who would be a good fit and want to work with them.

For anyone who provides a service, we feel that's important to show because transparency goes such a long way.

On top of all of this, we love to hear people's stories in general, but also understanding more about their business helps us come up with solutions that actually help them!

When we talk video strategy and marketing to our clients on what works, a lot of the times people don't realize we also do it for our own business because we know what works and what we're doing, so why wouldn't we?

We've had leads contact us and even had a couple question, "well, how do we actually know your video strategy and marketing works?" My reply is almost always, "well, how did you find us?" Most of the times they're like "touche!" And the reason is, we implement what works because we're also looking for results and clearly our clients want the same type of results as well.

In this photo, I was actually showing clients an example of my own short form video I created for branding, awareness and marketing and the structure we had in mind to help them when it came to the scripting for grabbing attention.

As video marketers, if we know it would help our clients, it'd be crazy not to utilize our own strategies to help our own business as well.

We definitely practice what we preach and we'd hope others do the same!

Another example of filming in a tight space but we made it work.

In this behind-the-scenes shot, our backs were against the wall, the conference table couldn't be moved, we couldn't even fit all of the equipment we wanted to use (such as additional c-stand, boom pole, additional lighting, etc) but we made it work regardless.

We'll post a snippet for this video shoot soon so make sure you follow so you don't miss out!

When it comes to video production, a lot of people don't realize how much time goes into the actual setup. It's much more than just setting up a camera.

In this case, often times setting up for interviews or talking head videos, it's setting up multiple lights, main audio as well as backup audio, of course the camera (usually multiple cameras) and with this project, a teleprompter and lastly, the location we're filming in.

When it comes to the location, we almost never film on a plain wall as it usually doesn't help visually with the messaging, which means we often move things around, add things like props, etc to the background to make the framing of the shot look that much more visually pleasing.

Speaking of location, after we set up a majority of our equipment, in this shot, we actually had to relocate to another part of the building because, well, multiple reasons.

One that included the electronic shades being broken for the windows, which was half the room, so we couldn't control our lighting since it was sunny, then rainy, then sunny and then cloudy, which would've affected our entire video.

But that's all part of adapting when you're on set and we made it work!

When it comes to video production and filming locations with our clients, sometimes what people don't see is the tight spaces or challenging environments, but at the end of the day, we always make it work since the most important thing that needs to show is whatever is in the frame, which our client. And we always make our clients look good in frame with the background!

In this behind-the-scenes photo, we were filming in a tight office space with limited options but filled the background with the plants and books, added background lighting and made it work for this talking head video.

And believe it or not, this wasn't even the smallest space we've filmed in!

Lately, we've worked with a bunch of clients and it was their first time being on camera. Often times people are nervous but some of the people we've worked with, they were absolute naturals when the lights and camera were on them.

Although, we've had clients, including this testimonial, say that we helped put them at ease when they're on camera, we definitely can't take all the credit.

When our clients talk about things that they are passionate about, that they love, and clearly have tons of knowledge on, when they speak on it, it comes out naturally and you can definitely tell the difference.

So although we like to be professional on a personable level so people feel comfortable with us, which translates to them being more comfortable on camera, when they're already so passionate and knowledgeable on what they're saying, you would never know it was their first time on camera!

So to all that don't give themselves enough credit, you did great!
