It all started with a coffee can! No lie! I turned it into a pinhole camera at the age of 15. If you are clueless as to what I'm talking about...google it!

When I left high school I had already studied with a local pro who inspired me to major in Photography. From Ansel's zone system to studio lights, I thought I had learned it all. In the fall of '03 I interned with two very established commercial photographers in San Diego who introduced me to the digital world. As the industry was changing, so did I, I had too. I went from my manual Nikon FM to Ca

non DSLR's. Over the years my kit has grown to cover the demands of weddings and softness of newborns. I'm proud to say that my background of coffee cans and darkrooms has made me the photographer I am today.

Four years ago on Mother's Day both my mom and Mike's mom were waiting for us to call them to wish them a Happy Mother's Day. They finally received a phone call around 6:00pm that explained our delay! I became a mother on Mother's Day and that makes today even more special to me...

This morning my family and I visited the Public Gardens, we even rode the Swan Boats, something I have never done before! It was a busy morning, everyone and their mother was there! Haha!

Fun Smash Cake session yesterday! What's hilarious to me is that Dad and Nonna ended up getting just as much frosting on themselves as the little one! What we'll do for a smile like this one! Love it!
