Due to Covid 19 most Birth Photographers and Doulas (and sometimes partners 💔) have not been allowed into hospitals. Some birth centers in MA have temporarily closed. Please continue to advocate for additional support people in the birth space, regardless of the location! It is SO important to have support while bringing a baby into this world!

My clients have visions and I respect those visions and do everything in my power to fulfill them! This was hers! This was her baby! The baby she wanted! The baby she prayed for!

Being a single mom by choice is not an easy task, but boy is she a strong and powerful momma! .

I posted something on my personal page and thought it was a good idea to keep us accountable...

Did you have any specific goals for your business this year?

When I started the year I said I wanted to double last years amount of births... at the end of June I modified it and said that I at least wanted to double the amount I made the first part of the year!

I would need to book 6 more births from now to December to complete my June goal. If I book 8 births I will be able to reach my beginning of the year goal!

Let's start verbalizing those goals... Words have power! We still have 5 months to go...

What a Home Birth looks like! :)

This is what home birth looks like,

Midwives sitting at the table chatting, sipping coffee and water.

Your best friend sitting on the floor playing with your toddler.

Your partner holding your hand while you work with the waves that rush over you to bring your baby into this universe.

Home birth isn’t how the movies depict birth. It isn’t an agonizing mother in hospital bed. It isn’t a woman who’s left to do the work all on her own. It isn’t unfamiliar doctors and nurses ushering in & out of your hospital room.

Birth is,
Powerful.
A rite of passage.
Transforming.
Empowering.
Normal.
