Hello everyone!🤗

A few updates: (long post)

I’m back!🤪 I took a little break from photography. The beginning of my pregnancy was absolutely brutal and I was sick for the first 16 weeks. I managed to get through the sessions I had scheduled, but then decided to be done for awhile. Once I had my son, I knew I wanted to get back to it, but wanted to spend as much time as I could with my little nugget before returning to teaching🥺

No better time to jump back into photography like the busiest time of the year!🤣 I am coaching Jr. High volleyball again, and going into my 3rd year teaching 6th grade ELA! This is also my fiancés busy time of year as he’s a farmer, and now that we have a little kiddo things will be a bit trickier - but I wouldn’t want it any other way! I’m officially “opening my books” as you could say! As of now, I don’t believe I will be offering dates for mini sessions, however, I will still come to you for a quick 15 minute session if you’d like! I hope to get my new website up and running soon! If you are wanting to book a session or have any questions, feel free to message me!😊

I have decided to make a name change. Since I’m getting married next June, my initials will change, and I figured I would change it to something more meaningful. If I’m being honest, I picked SP Photography on a whim because I couldn’t think of anything else and wanted to get started🤣 So, with that being said, SP Photography will now be 𝟺𝟷 𝙿𝚑𝚘𝚝𝚘𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚙𝚑𝚢! I went back and forth on a few different ideas, and this one stuck with me. I wanted it short and simple, yet meaningful. 41 is the beginning of the address to my childhood home, where I fell in love with photography. My parents bought me my first digital camera and I would take pictures of absolutely everything (including allll the embarrassing selfies😂). We lived in the country on a beautiful piece of land for the first 12 years of my life. I still miss it!

I will be posting a new logo and changing my name soon!

Thank you to everyone who has been supportive! I look forward to being behind the camera again!🤩

| The Schalls (plus Tallie🤣) |

Oddly enough, my last post (from a year ago) was of this family as well! I'm so happy I got to photograph them again! They're always a lot of fun with great ideas! Dustin discovered how hard it can be to pose - the girls had to give him a little lesson🤣 Tallie even got to sneak in a couple (and be my assistant for the evening)😜

Even though I've been out of the game for awhile, when this family reached out I couldn't say no! With that being said, some time this week I will post an update about the future of SP Photography. For now, I'm going to send out this gallery and snuggle my baby before he starts daycare tomorrow😢 Summer has gone too fast!

Hello everyone!!

As you may have noticed, I made the decision to take some time away from photography and focus on my first year of teaching. With student teaching/subbing last year, getting my classroom ready over the summer, learning new curriculum, and starting my first year teaching, I put photography on the back burner for a bit. However, I am happy to say I'm ready to start getting back into it! Shoot me a message to set something up!
