Baby William’s newborn session ❤️

This is exactly why I love photographing families at home.

The train tracks stay where they always are. Big brothers get to play. Babies get to nap. Parents get to settle into the rhythm of an ordinary morning instead of worrying about getting everyone somewhere on time.

Baby William was as content as could be while Edison kept busy with his train set and made sure to give his little brother plenty of kisses throughout the morning—he was so sweet with his little bro! We spent most of our time in their cozy dayroom, complete with a funky couch that Maddie said came with the house when they bought it. They decided to keep it, and honestly, I’m so glad they did! I love that funk-a-delic touch it adds to the space and to the photos hahaha!

These are the kinds of moments that feel ordinary while you’re living them, but years from now they’ll be the ones you miss most. Photos at home forever have my ❤️

Continuing my Mother’s Day rampage from last week LOL! Katie and her boy crew definitely kept me on my toes 😂 Between the chaos, the cuddles, and Henry loving every second of the camera attention, this session was such a fun one! I’ve known this little fam forever, and let me tell you, these two kiddos are like a mini-me of both their parents! Liam and Vera made this session so easy with all the hugs and snuggles for mama ❤️ Such a sweet little crew and so much love (and sick dance moves) packed into 20 minutes!

First up—the Kjelshus fam! Meghan and her crew brought all the energy in the best way! The kids had their own ideas, kept me laughing the whole time, and were total naturals in front of the camera!

I don’t know why, but I’ve REALLY been feelin’ red lately! My eye is just drawn to it in the last year, so here’s a blaring red series of my kiddos featuring mostly Jude 😂 She was excited to help me out with this project— shooting on medium format film for the first time!

Mix of digital and 120 film with my (new to me) Fujifilm 645 pro! 🎞️

I was wondering why Corbin wasn’t acting like his normal goofy self this day—turns out he had influenza B and woke up about 12 hours later in the middle of the night puking. Here I was trying to force the poor kid into photos— mother of the year over here 🫣
