Craig Hoffman Photography

Craig Hoffman Photography Craig’s work is about story telling in stills and motion. I love being in the outdoors.

Some of my passions include rock climbing, trail running, skiing and traveling. Ideally, I try to create photographs that capture my passions, the adventure lifestyle, travel, and the beauty of the outdoors and put them all together in a compelling visual story. I began pursuing photography while spending summers as a AMGA Certified Mountain Guide in Alaska and Colorado.

Took the out today while .hoffman cast a custom rod on the Big Thompson. The water was good, a few trout were willing to play, and we got some solid shots.

Donating to Craig’s 8th Annual Lake Fork Flyathlon fundraiser is more than supporting a run, fish, and beer event. By protecting our rivers and fish, we’re also protecting the beauty of nature, ensuring future generations can enjoy these resources as we do today. Your support in restoring native trout and keeping our rivers healthy is essential. Our waterways and aquatic life support the wildlife from birds and mammals. All fish, not just trout, are an integral part of the ecosystem, helping to maintain balance in nature.

What is excellent about Running Rivers is your donation goes straight to projects; the organization is volunteer-driven and has very little overhead—your dollars to the solution. Our partners, like Trout Unlimited, the Western Native Trout Initiative, the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife, work with us because Running Rivers can provide immediate funding, personpower, and project management to get things down with little bureaucratic red tape.

Please consider donating to help our freshwater friends live a happy and healthy life. 🎣🐟

In less than 15 days, I will compete in the 8th Annual Lake Fork Flyathlon. A Flyathlon is not just a typical race; it's a harmonious blend of trail running, fly-fishing prowess, and environmental stewardship. The end goal of each Flyathlon is to raise money to conserve and restore native fish populations and the freshwater ecosystems that sustain them.

I look forward to this race each year. The camaraderie of old and new friends, fishing, trail running, and fall weather make this a fantastic Colorado weekend. I aim to raise $2500 between now and September 21, 2024.

Running Rivers is a grassroots 501c3 organization behind each Flyathlon, which is committed to conserving and restoring native fish populations in freshwater ecosystems by inspiring people to engage in conservation through unique recreational events, education, and on-the-ground projects.

Please consider donating to help our freshwater friends live a happy and healthy life. 🎣🐟

Thanks!
