Explorations in AI: At Pixel Mill Studios we are fascinated and impressed with the latest innovation in AI image and video generation. So I've been playing with some of the more user friendly and accessible tools to see if this tech can currently be useful in my work,

Example #1 - Runway AI: I needed a shot for a small project was doing and looked around various stock footage sights to see if I could find something close. Nothing really matched my vision for the shot so I thought I would try AI to see if the hype is currently warranted.

My approach was to first make an image that was close to the compositions and tone that I wanted. Here is the prompt:

"A beautiful woman with light brown skin angrily yelling at her boyfriend as she slam a bedroom door closed. The view is from the boyfriend following her down the hall."

Dalle would not even make an image best I can tell it flagged this as possible domestic violence. I decided to try a tool I haven't used, Runway AI, which does text to image or video!

After several iteration it gave an image really close to what I had in my head. Starting with that I tried to generate a video from it with. a similar prompt but also describing the camera moment as handheld and from a first person point of view. The result were not great.
