If you know me or have followed me for the last year and half, you may remember I dealt with some pretty brutal back pain. I had a good run. Pain free since January... until this morning. I'd love to tell you I hurt it from something athletic or brave. Alas, I was picking a pillow off the ground. This is 30 ✨

I have felt pretty bummed and defeated today. Yet, I was reminded of my wonderful village, of kind healthcare workers, and God's goodness. I waited in the ER for a while. I eventually got medicine and an overall good report from imaging. I was able to read my book. And I was able to pray for those around me. Some sick kiddos. Some people who I didn't know anything about. An old woman who seemed to be in agonizing pain and it broke my heart. I was reminded of this last year and I'm reminded of it again today. When you're in pain or going through something, don't forget to call out to God. And don't forget to pray for others. It's hard to wait for relief. But it's good to pray over others. I don't know how I'll feel tomorrow but I know that people have been praying for me and it is so appreciated 🤎
