BIG NEWS!!

A NEW + SIMPLIFIED way to book a photo session with me is officially here and I am so stinking excited about this!!

We already did a little test run with my mini sessions, and now I’m bringing the same booking system to almost EVERY session I offer!

The only exceptions will be weddings, bo***ir + senior sessions. Those will still require you to reach out to me directly.

Going forward, I’ll be loading my availability into the booking website a few months at a time. Right now, all of my remaining availability for September, October, November + December is loaded and ready to book!

You’ll be able to book things like:
Family sessions
Extended family sessions
Maternity
One year sessions
Couples
And more!

All you have to do is choose the type of session you want, pick from the available dates + times, enter your information and BOOK IT YOURSELF!

After booking, you’ll send your $25 nonrefundable deposit to Venmo .

Once I receive your booking notification + deposit, I’ll reach out to make sure all of the little details are ironed out and we are good to go!

I’m still learning and experimenting with this new system, so you may see additional dates and times added as I get more comfortable with it and see how everything flows.

Machinery minis were a blast this year!

We had so many fun machines to choose from (don’t ask me what they were… the toddlers boys probably know better than me 😂) and the rain before was the perfect addition to mix a little mud into the play.

I can not say THANK YOU enough to the generous family who allows me to use their property and equipment for these photos! The best memories!

Good morning everyone! I hope you’re feeling refreshed and ready to take on this short week after the long Labor Day weekend!

I photographed an AWESOME wedding on Friday and had so much fun, but the second I left that evening, my brain officially clocked out of all things work. I spent the rest of the weekend with friends and family, and wow did I need that little rest and reset.

Then I woke up this morning and reality hit. Messages to answer, kids to get ready and off to school, work to catch up on, deadlines floating around in my brain… I may or may not have left the house without brushing my teeth and had to come back home after school drop off to actually get myself ready. 😂

This is the Mondayest Tuesday to ever Tuesday, but WE’RE DOING IT.

The good news is I’m still within the two week turnaround time I try really hard to maintain! So if you’re waiting on a gallery and it hasn’t been two weeks yet, don’t worry, it’s coming! I’ll be in the salon all day today, but I plan to edit my little heart away tonight, and I’m off tomorrow so I’ll really be hitting the ground running.

I’m also working on a new, simplified way to book full sessions similar to what we just started with minis! I still have a few kinks to work out, but I’m hoping to have more info on that later this week!

I hope everyone has an amazing week! For now, enjoy this little sneak peek of Friday’s bride and groom… and then prepare to be bombarded with Machinery Minis because I delivered them a while ago and STILL haven’t shown you how freaking cute they turned out!

GALLERY DELIVERY UPDATE

A little update for anyone who has had a session with me or is currently waiting on a gallery!

PASS, the gallery delivery system I have used for years, has announced that they will be closing their doors as of October 31. They have partnered with another gallery company called Pic-Time to make the transition as smooth as possible, and I have officially started transferring everything over.

What does this mean for you?

If you already have a gallery from me, don’t worry! Your current PASS gallery link is still active and will remain available for one year from your session date. As things transition over, the website may eventually look a little different, but your photos aren’t going anywhere.

If you are CURRENTLY WAITING on a gallery from me, this is the important part:

As of today, no new galleries will be delivered through PASS. Your gallery will now come from PIC-TIME!

So when you’re watching your inbox for that exciting “your gallery is ready” email, keep an eye out for Pic-Time instead of PASS so you don’t accidentally overlook it!

From everything I’ve looked into so far, Pic-Time’s interface is VERY similar to PASS and seems just as easy to use, so I’m expecting this to be a really smooth switch. I’m not concerned about the transition at all, I just wanted to make sure everyone knew what name to look for when their gallery arrives!

When Madison reached out about doing a one year anniversary photo shoot with her husband, I was instantly excited because no one has ever asked me to do one before!

She had so many cute ideas and these were seriously SO much fun to shoot.

So if doing an anniversary session has ever crossed your mind and you weren’t sure if you should, DO IT! Or maybe you’ve never even thought about doing something like this, but you have an anniversary coming up… consider this your sign.

I highly recommend celebrating your marriage and capturing what this season of life looks like together. You definitely don’t need to wait for a big milestone anniversary to do it!
