Lately I have seen many photographers struggle with customers and non customers alike altering the work that the photographer has put so much time and effort into, cropping out their watermark, and and in so many ways not allowing that photographer to get the credit for their own work. In today's world, with so many aspiring photographers, it so so important to show the respect that each photographer deserves by allowing their work to remain their work.
As a photographer myself, I know and understand that there is so much more to creating a wonderful photo than just having a good camera and pushing the button. I ask each and every one of you to please take that in consideration if you or someone you know has altered in any way a photograph that you yourself did not produce. Even if it was done without the intentions of actually harming the photographer, in so many ways it really does affect each of us. Sorry, I know this is a little lengthy, but had to put it out here after seeing what drastic measures another hard working photographer (not locally) has had to go to.
