Updating my available prints this week for the event circuit this Spring and Fall. From early 2021 and sadly this one no longer stands.

A new Walnut Lawn print is available. You can get it at the Knicely Center on March 7, 2026, during the Girls Day Out event 10am-4pm along with many more selections to choose from in 5x7, 8x10, 11x14 and more. Walnut Lawn was built as a log cabin in 1805. Atwood Hobson purchased the large property in 1872, later it was transferred to his son, Colonel William Hobson. A vast remodel in 1885 into Victorian Eastlake style gave it a classic look. Much of the property along Jennings Creek that stretched toward downtown was sold off and some developed through generations. The home was kept up into the 1990s, but by 2025, surrounded completely by apartments, it was razed. It joins many others in Bowling Green that should still be standing.

It's 5:45 am and 33 degrees on a Saturday morning at the Old Richardsville Road bridge. The wet snow is coming down a little harder now and the slight wind has a bite to it. It's very quiet and peaceful other than the distant sound of a car traveling along KY 185 on the other side of Barren River. I noticed that vandalism is starting to take its toll on this old bridge, once maintained in pristine condition, now becoming neglected. In a little while the sun will try to get through the gloomy, overcast sky, but it will be a battle until afternoon, with off and on snow showers. Adam and I had left the house early, and we made this a first stop in a day that would take us many places around Bowling Green, and later as far away as Adams, Tennessee.
