KAI // POWERS CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL// CLASS OF 2027 🎓

Even though Kai and his family call Southeast Michigan home, Frankfort has been part of his story for years. He grew up vacationing along the shores of Lake Michigan, so when it came time for senior photos, heading back to one of his favorite places just made sense.

We wandered from the marina to the dunes and shoreline, and even managed to sneak in a little acrobatics along the way. 😂

And of course, the newest member of the family, Frankie, came along too. Bringing your dog to senior photos is pretty much always a yes in my book. 🐾

Kai is one of those genuinely kind, easygoing kids with a great smile and a positive energy that comes through immediately. Such a fun evening documenting this season of his life in a place that already holds so many memories.

🎓Senior year has a funny way of making everything feel a little more meaningful. The games, the dances, the friends, the places they’ve grown up loving. Suddenly, there are a whole lot of “lasts.”

If you’ve been meaning to schedule senior photos and haven’t gotten around to it yet, this is your sign. I’m now booking a limited number of September and October senior sessions throughout Northern Michigan, right as everything starts turning ridiculously beautiful.🍁🍂

🎸🎶A few years ago, my friend Courtney introduced me to the local band Seasonal Road, and I pretty quickly became a fan. Not just of their sound, but of the genuinely good humans behind it.

Over the years, I’ve become friends with many of them and rearrange my schedule whenever I can to catch them playing. So when they reached out and asked me to create some new band photos, I was pretty excited to say yes.

ADDISON // MILFORD HIGH SCHOOL // CLASS OF 2027 ✨

This one feels a little extra special. I’ve been photographing Addison and her family since she was just a toddler, so getting to photograph her senior photos after watching her grow up through the years was pretty surreal. And if you know this family, you know her brothers have always had a bit of a wild side. 😂 After years of photographing their particular brand of chaos, Addison’s easygoing, sweet personality was a fun change of pace. She’s outgoing, funny and genuinely kind, with one of those effortless smiles that makes photographing her a dream.

We spent her session bouncing around Petoskey, from the marina and downtown to wildflowers and the beach, and just when I thought Addison might be the tame sibling, we walked past a discarded toilet in an alley and she immediately wanted a photo on it...an ode to her brothers 😂 Apparently the family wild streak is alive and well!

So excited to share a few sneak peeks of the last kiddo to leave the nest. 💛 Addison, you are going to do some pretty incredible things.

P.S. If you’re wondering whether you should bring your furry family members along for senior photos, the answer is 100% yes. 🐾

MADILYNN // CHARLEVOIX HIGH SCHOOL // CLASS OF 2027✨

Madi is adventurous, ambitious and genuinely kind, with a quiet confidence and a personality that absolutely shines once you get to know her.

An athlete, longtime Girl Scout, lifeguard, swim instructor and future child life specialist, she has a pretty incredible passion for helping others. She even started a club at her high school to help students turn their own passions into projects that make a difference in their community.

We spent her session exploring some hidden pockets of Northern Michigan, from Sweet Peas and wooded trails to the shoreline, with those incredible curls and blue eyes stealing the show along the way.

One of Madi’s favorite compliments she’s ever received is “otherworldly,” and after photographing her, I completely get it. There’s something quietly magnetic about her, and I loved getting to capture it.

So excited to share these sneak peeks of this beautiful Class of 2027 senior. 💫

🎓 All these last day of school & graduation photos popping up lately have me feeling extra sentimental. What a milestone for the Class of 2026! ✨

A huge congratulations to Korinne, Carter, Ellee, Madeline, Robert, Keegan, Kenzie & Harper.... it was my absolute honor capturing this exciting season of life through your senior sessions. 🎉

And parents...this moment belongs to you too. ❤️ From lunch packing and school drop-offs to late night homework, sports schedules, and somehow making it through the teenage years, you’ve raised some truly amazing humans. 👏😭

Wishing all of these grads the very best as they head into whatever comes next. I’m so grateful I got to play a tiny role in documenting such a special season. 🎓✨
