Camera nerd moment. We've been shooting with internally stabilized mirrorless cameras for about two years now, and I'm finally getting to the point where shooting motion at 1/20 sec shutter seems kind of normal. The old rule of thumb was that the shutter should be at least equal to your focal length. For instance, if I was shooting with a 50mm lens, the shutter should be at least 1/50 sec (1/60 for most cameras). Slow shutter combined with practiced panning makes for some fun shots.
