Honored to have captured a truly special evening at Nonno Umberto on St. Armands Circle.

This beautiful gathering brought together an incredible group of people in support of the legendary Dick Vitale and his renowned gala. About 50 guests, amazing energy, and a night full of heart, connection, and purpose.

Grateful for the opportunity to document moments like these—the laughter, the elegance, and the cause behind it all.

Before ➝ After

Captured during Hurricane Milton Anna Maria Island in Bradenton, Florida . A surfer stood watching the storm waves roll in as the sky lit up behind him.
The first image is straight from the camera.
The second shows the finished photograph after bringing back the color, contrast, and atmosphere of that moment.
Sometimes the most dramatic light shows up right before the storm.

I don’t want to be just your average photographer. I see some photographers advertising average photography, and others just blow me away. It’s not necessarily the photography, but what they do with it afterwards. In short, it’s the editing. I want to create art that makes you go WOW! It’s taking a lot of practice to get there, and I’m close to wow, but even that won’t be good enough for me. I am the type to do things on my own, to figure it out, to mess around and find out 🤣, but lately I’ve had to humble myself and admit that sometimes talent needs to be nurtured, and there are tips and tricks to be learned from others. I’ve been taking lessons online for Photoshop and learning more about composition, color, framing, and what “draws the eye,” and I can’t wait to put what I’ve learned to good use! Hope everyone has a beautiful day! ❤️
