I wanted to give everyone an update on what’s been going on lately and thank every single client who’s had to reschedule due to my son Bennett’s illness. You all are amazing, so understanding, and I’m beyond grateful! If we had a shoot scheduled, as soon as I’m home with Bennett and he’s recovered, I will be contacting you to reschedule as soon as possible! Again, I’m so lucky to have clients as kind as you all!❤️

“They need me, but they will never know how much I need them❤️”

These pictures of my babies were a spur of the moment this summer! Sun was going down, I had a new lens I wanted to try, thinking to myself what do we even have to match for clothes, heck..let’s have a backyard photoshoot lol I know sometimes it feels like we need to have it all planned out and perfect, but sometimes just capturing some raw, fun, in the moment pictures is enough. It easily became a core memory for me because of the non stop giggles shared between us all, dad dancing in the background so I could capture my favorite candid moment laughs, and seeing something so simple become so beautiful! Forever grateful for my little models and always letting me take pictures of them. They have no idea how much I cherish these..I love these smiles the most🥹

Let’s take a moment for these cuties, Alexa and Darian!!🌼

The pictures speak for themselves when I say you can feel the true love between these two! The way they smiled at each other throughout their whole shoot, giggled, kissed each other…it was beautiful and I’m so happy I was able to capture it for them!! Being vulnerable isn’t easy in front of the camera, and I know it can be scary, but just remember..the more vulnerable and free you are, the more beautiful moments we can catch❤️

I had the honor to take pictures for my beautiful best friend and her family of four! Wells Hazelton, you’re perfection in every way..with your sweet little button nose, tiny toes, and red toned hair..you couldn’t be sweeter!!🤍

After shooting these pictures it reassured me that I do love to shoot newborn photography but it’s not your typical posed newborn photography. Ive been asked a lot about this and the photos you see above are the types of newborn photos I take! I don’t do posed newborn photography, but I do shoot lifestyle newborn photography. The ones that capture their little toes, fingers, ears, mom, dad, siblings snuggling them..those are what I’m comfortable with and what I really enjoy doing! So just for a future heads up, if you’re wanting to shoot with me for a newborn shoot, it looks a little more like this🥰

So many of you have been asking about Fall Mini’s and they are hereee!🍁

I will be doing two different types of fall minis this year just so everyone can pick and choose what they’d like to do more!

October 19th I will be shooting boho fall minis! It will include a wooden structure with pompous grass, a blanket, pillows, and other decor!

November 16th I will be hosting fall leaves minis! They will be more simple, in a field of beautiful color trees and hopefully fallen leaves on the ground surrounding you by then!

Both sessions are $150 and you will receive 6 edited, high resolution images back! Any more you receive are yours to keep for no extra charge! A $25 non refundable deposit is due at the time of booking, and that will also secure you a time slot!

For this next week, I am taking advantage of the beautiful weather we’re going to have and host a dgiffinphotography End of Summer mini’s special!!!☀️

It lasts all week until 9/15! (the only day I will not be able to shoot is Saturday 9/14 due to Jr Comets Homecoming)

•They will be $150 for 6 edited, high resolution, images (any additional images added in your gallery from me will be no extra charge.)
•15 min shoots from 5:45-6:45
•Located in Braidwood, IL or Essex, IL and the background will be a field of yellow wildflowers and tall grass.
•There will be a $25 non refundable deposit due at the time you book your shoot, and that will go towards your remaining balance after the shoot!

Time Slot options are 5:45, 6:00, 6:15, 6:30, and 6:45!

*If there is rain by chance on the day we are supposed to shoot, do not worry! We can absolutely reschedule and your special will still be honored*

Hi everyone!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve been on here and I just want to make a quick announcement!

This past month me and my family have found out my husband has to get surgery on his back. I have been putting all of my time these past couple months into helping him, taking care of our kiddos, and taking on a lot of extra things around the house and more.

I want to apologize to anyone that’s been waiting on me to respond to messages, book appointments, or finish editing. You all have been so patient, kind, and understanding and I appreciate it more than you know!!

I am so passionate about photography and absolutely love capturing those memories for you all and will continue to do so, but I will always be a wife and mother first. So for the month of July and some of August I will be busy with taking care of my family, but after July, I will be back in full swing with booking photoshoots and accepting any new clients!

Again, I am so sorry if you have reached out and received a late response or have been waiting on a gallery to be delivered, it has been weighing on me heavily that I have not been able to give you my all on a timely manner like I used to in the past!

If you are one of my clients waiting to receive a gallery, don’t worry, I will be doing the best I can to work on those this week and next!

You all mean so much to me and I am forever grateful for you! Thank you!!❤️
