The weather definitely was not fond of our Sunday adventure, but we made the most and chased the sunshine where we could find it. From Hornell to Bath, to Hammondsport and to Prattsburgh with this girl and her very own hype man extraordinaire Dad I think we covered all the bases. We even recreated a couple of her brother's photos but I'm sure she didn't realize that until we were done. Watching kids grow up makes me feel old for sure, but I'm glad they choose me to be the one to help capture these milestones. Welcome to your senior year, kiddo. Don't forget the pillow. 😉

Oh boy, this is going to be a rough one... Shelby is my own kid, a replica of my bookworm and emotional side and the most challenging senior I had to work with this year. It's her artistic side and I'm definitely used to it. On this adventure, we learned that wardrobe changes in the truck are overrated, hiking to the water tower requires sneakers, not boots and the sunken garden is apparently made for photoshoots. There is a session 2 for her, I just haven't edited through them yet because computer fail. Make every outing an adventure, and you'll always have memories to keep you entertained.

What an awesome day for a senior session this was! The weather was perfect and just when we asked for sun it would peek out of the clouds (or the clouds would cover when it was way too bright). Grandpa's truck, the vineyards and Keuka Lake made a great background and Shane did anything I asked him to, even if his height made it awkward sometimes - and showed me his adaptability, his goofiness and his personality. Senior year? Already? Where does the time even go?

Krislyn - senior session - Prattsburgh Class of 2021

Every year I always have seniors that I know through my kids and every year that it's one of my kid's classes it always hits a bit harder than usual. This year is truly no different. I started off this senior season with the lovely Krislyn and she was super willing to just get down in the water and make the silly faces with us. She showed me the beauty of the outlet falls and I showed her that if I fall in the water, we'll still make the shot look spectacular! Here are your previews, disk should be delivered soon!

Michalea - Grad Session - Class of 2018

Wow.... Part of me never thought this day would be here. Graduation for this girl is on Friday. She's done it. This is my oldest kid and I'm so proud of the person she is becoming. She's been my mimic, my attitude, my diva, my princess... My rebel, my juvenile delinquent, my brainiac, my jock. My strong willed, stubborn and sometimes right, always busy, never home pain in the butt. She's the reason I have said I can't my kid has practice so many times because she's a 3 sport a year student. She has phenomenal talent, dedication to that which she is passionate about, and the tenacity to go far when she puts her whole heart in it. I'm so proud to have had this session with her because despite the arguments and butting heads, we do okay with our epic adventures, road trip radio, and spin till you're dizzy so I get a good smile sessions.

Oh, and for those who don't already know, or can't guess... She's going to Alfred University in the fall. ♥

Finally catching up on edits of my oldest kiddo. We had a few good days that we took advantage of, found just the perfect light and shot these back in January. Yes, January... In New York, all locations seen are within 15 miles of my home.
