Okayyy, this one was pretty dang sweet. 🥹

A promise ring, a gorgeous evening at Chateau on the Lake, and two people who clearly have a whole lot of fun loving each other. 💍🤍

We celebrated this little milestone with plenty of laughing, dancing, spinning, snuggling—and of course, showing off that new ring. 😉

Such a fun reminder that every chapter is worth documenting. Sometimes it’s simply about celebrating where you are, who you love, and the promises you’re making along the way. ❤️

Reed Family Sneak Peek 🌿

A little anniversary celebration turned into the perfect reason to get the whole family together. 🥹❤️

The Reed Family joined me at Chateau on the Lake to celebrate Grandma & Grandpa and the life, love, and family they’ve built together over the years. And seriously—how sweet are these two?! You can just feel the years of love between them.

Getting everyone together for photos isn’t always easy, but these are the kinds of images that only become more valuable with time. So happy I got to capture this chapter for the Reed family. 🤍

✨ GINGLE FAMILY | SNEAK PEEK ✨

Remember that model call I posted a few weeks ago looking for a family to bring a little vision I had to life?

Well… meet the Gingle Family. 🤎

And goodness, they could not have been more perfect for it.

We spent the evening at Moonshine Beach in Branson, chasing that last bit of golden light, playing in the sand, loving on each other, laughing, spinning, snuggling… and eventually doing exactly what I warned them we would do — getting in the water. 😂

This is exactly why I love sessions that have a little less “everyone look at me and smile” and a whole lot more movement, connection and letting your family just be your family. The little hands being held, kids being tossed in the air, mom and dad sneaking a moment together, bare feet in the water — that is the good stuff.

And can we talk about the COLORS?! The soft blues and creams against that warm Missouri sunset were an absolute dream. 😍

Gingle Family, thank you for trusting my weird little creative vision and being willing to play along with everything I threw at you. You guys were SO much fun to photograph.

I think it’s safe to say I found exactly the family I was looking for. 🤎

✨ Sneak Peek: Welcome, Charlie Jo! ✨

The sweetest little addition has arrived, and I’m so excited to introduce you to Charlie Jo. 🤍

The Bales family has a brand-new reason to soak in all the little moments, and this session was the perfect way to capture them. We met just outside their new home for a cozy family session filled with golden light, cuddles, baby snuggles, and so much love.

From big sister loving on her new baby to the quiet moments of Mom and Dad soaking in their newest little blessing, every image tells the story of a family growing together. There were sweet sibling moments, tender newborn details, happy smiles, and those beautiful in-between moments that make family life so special.

Congratulations, Bales family, on your beautiful new addition. Welcome to the world, sweet Charlie Jo. Your family is already completely smitten with you. 🤍🌿

💍 SNEAK PEEK | Rylan + Emily 💍

SHE SAID YES!! 🥹🤍

Rylan pulled off the sweetest surprise proposal on Table Rock Lake, and Emily had absolutely no idea what was waiting for her at the end of that dock!

Her dad dropped her off and sent her on her way toward Rylan, while their family watched the whole thing unfold from a distance. And then came the moment everyone had been waiting for… Rylan got down on one knee, and Emily said YES! 💍✨

Afterward, the family came down to congratulate the newly engaged couple, and we spent some time wandering the docks and lakeside capturing all of those just-engaged moments—the hugs, the laughter, the ring, the cuddles, and that unmistakable “WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!” glow. 🥰

The warm evening light, the boats, the water, and having their family there to secretly witness it all made this one pretty dang special.

Sometimes the best decision you can make is handing the camera to someone else. 😉

The Frit family originally planned to tackle these extended family photos themselves during their morning at Chateau on the Lake... but at the last minute, they decided to rope me into the fun instead—and I'm so glad they did!

Coordinating a group this size isn't always easy, but this crew made it look effortless. Between the sweet grandparent portraits, individual family groups, and one big photo with everyone together, we captured so many memories that will be cherished for years to come.
