This was so much fun.
It seems like I’m always unsure of my knowledge going into any teaching situation, but with a few good questions from the students and the teachers we were able to have a great discussion about the elements of portraiture and photography in general. I’m excited to see the work these students produce in their own project.
One of the many cool things about photography, and portraiture (all art really), is that we all have our own perspectives, and so there is infinite room (and need) for more creators. I very much hope that these students came away from the visit a little bit inspired and more confident in sharing their own visions.
