Testing…is this thing on?! 🎤

I woke up to outages on every social media platform which isn’t a big deal until you realize how much you rely on social media for your business.

I’m thankful I was able to use those few hours to catch up on editing, but couldn’t wait to share this cute little chunk who came visit me for her “sitter” session.

Last fall and winter I saw a baby boom and now those babies are heading back to the studio for their milestone sessions. These sessions are my fav because I get to visit with “my babies” every few months! It’s so fun seeing how much they’ve changed and watching them learn how to sit, stand, crawl, and walk.

This gorgeous Momma to be. Those cheerful sunflowers. That breathtaking sunset. This session was JUST what my heart needed!

The local sunflower field is in peak bloom but it won't last long! This weekends weather looks fantastic and I have evenings available if anyone wants to take advantage of this gorgeous location before bloom time is over.

Lavender is the latest trend for newborn girls and I'm loving it! It's such a sweet option for those that aren't big on all things pink.

Did you know...the ELP studio is stocked with EVERYTHING we need for your newborn session? Soft and stretchy backdrops, cozy wraps, dainty headbands, hand knit bonnets, teeny tiny outfits, and even pacifiers in case you forget to grab yours on the way out the door.

FRESH 48 SESSIONS ARE BACK!

Pre Covid, these were so popular and some of my favorite sessions to be a part of. They are real and raw. Soaking in those first few hours after birth. Wrinkly fingers, tiny toes, and scrunchy faces. When hospitals started limiting visitors during Covid, Fresh 48 sessions were put on hold and weren't quite as popular. But they are back...back again!

The question I get the most...should you book a Fresh 48 session or a studio newborn session? My answer is BOTH! Why? Because they are SO different! Even in those few days in between the hospital and when you arrive at the studio, your baby changes so much!

Just a quick heads up...I am currently booking newborn sessions into December! If you are expecting a sweet babe in the next few months, let's get your due date penciled in! My calendar is filling up faster than I could ever dream of and I absolutely hate saying no. It's painful. Truly.

To sum it up...book your newborn session as soon as possible. This isn't a gimmick. Promise!

I won't lie...I'm currently stuck in a creators block trying to come up with catchy social media captions that will make the algorithm love me. But I've convinced myself that done is better than perfect and these sweet little babes need their moment in the spotlight. So better late than never...I'm going to spam you with ultimate cuteness in between editing. Ignore the fact that some of these sessions are from January. K? K!

Me. Trying to survive the madness of Maycember!

I've been quieter than usual over the last couple of weeks. Mostly trying to keep my head above water navigating life, Mommin', end of school madness, and we can't forget...the flooded studio. But I promise I'm working hard behind the scenes cuddling sweet babes and editing. Lots of editing.

Today I looked ahead at my summer schedule and I have only a handful of dates available for newborn sessions through August. If you're expecting a sweet babe soon, now is the best time to book!

Let's get your due date penciled in so you have one less thing to check off of your to do list!
