I have news...
After a lot of thought and heart-searching, I’ve decided to step back from my business for the time being. It’s bittersweet, but it feels right in this season of life. My husband is exploring a new chapter in special warfare with the Air Force, transitioning from the Army National Guard, and with that comes a lot of uncertainty about where we’ll be next year. As much as I’ve tried to plan and pin down timelines, military life makes it difficult to predict. We expect to be moving early next year, but everything is still up in the air.
This has been such a heavy decision for me. The stress of not knowing where I can market and the fear of letting brides down by not being able to make it to their big day has weighed on my heart. After much thought, I’ve realized the best thing I can do for myself, brides, and my peace of mind is to pause for now.
At first, this really hurt. I love what I do with my whole heart. But as I’ve sat with this decision, I’ve come to see it as a beautiful opportunity to slow down, step away from social media, and fully embrace these next few months in Colorado. I want to savor the adventures, the sunsets, the time with friends, and dive back into creative hobbies that once filled my days—painting, journaling, drawing, and maybe even discovering some new ones.
To my wonderful clients, don’t worry—I’ll still be here to serve you and deliver on all my commitments. I just won’t be taking on any new work at this time.
I’m excited to soak in this slower pace and live in the present. Other than those who follow my email list, I'll see y’all sometime next year! Until then, wishing you all the love and adventure. 🫶🏻
