Our conversation started out by me telling her that this location isn’t for maternity sessions because it is a mile hike down to the beach and a mile back up. She responded by telling me she hiked Chain Lakes Loop last week and doing Maple Pass next week. She just impresses me and inspires me. I love these photos because it shows her health and vibrance.

My husband has been deployed, so I was very limited on how far and how long I could leave the dogs. Because of this I had to really limit my adventure sessions. It was so nice to get back to Mt Rainier. Its beauty never disappoints.

We discovered this beautiful cove after our first location proved to be too cold and windy. Yes, it can be cold and windy along the ocean in mid summer here in Washington. Working around weather is a Washington photographers specialty. 75% of our job is monitoring the weather. Being able to improvise is a must. This mama was so fun to work with and had the best attitude the whole time.
