It’s been a very long time since I last picked up my camera. It felt awkward and my grip felt weaker but it was nice to see I didn’t forget everything. I have to admit I was anxious. Could I hold my camera, would I remember how to use it, could I direct the shot while trying to navigate the lighting and camera settings? My husband needed a last minute shot and this was probably the best scenario, as I didn’t have time to get even more anxious about my abilities. It was my son that calmed me down by simply saying “I can here you getting nervous. Why are you getting so worried? It doesn’t have to be this complicated. Dad just wants a picture and you can do that and I’ll be there to help.” I sat back and immediately felt calmer and thought “you’re right”. So of course I had to also take some shots of him as I was feeling more comfortable. Anyone dealing with health issues knows the process to getting your confidence back has a lot to do with your confidence in your health/body. It’s a work in progress but I’m so glad to have three caring, uplifting and strong men in my life. Thank you my loves. 🙏 ❤️
