Perched above the Hudson River, The Abbey Inn gave this day the dreamiest backdrop. From quiet moments getting ready to golden light spilling across the grounds as everyone settled into the celebration. Every corner felt like it had a story to tell, and these two fit right into it.

One of our favorite things about photographing weddings here is how effortlessly the venue blends timeless elegance with Hudson Valley charm. It’s the kind of place where a peaceful moment on the terrace turns into a frame you’ll treasure forever, and where the celebration inside feels just as beautiful as the views outside.

The day started in the cozy cottage at The Grandview, where laughter filled every corner, matching PJs made for the sweetest getting-ready moments, and a champagne pop kicked off the celebration!

After their first look, there was a quiet pause as Amaya and Zach exchanged their private vows by the Hudson, soaking in the words they’d soon share with one another.

The Hudson continued to make a stunning background for their couple portraits as we made our way back to the Grandview before witnessing the breathtaking moment of Amaya making her way down the cottage stairs toward her forever. Every single part of their day unfolded so naturally. Their first kiss as husband and wife, the walk back down the aisle, a quiet moment in front of their marquee, and a first dance that felt like the rest of the room disappeared.

One of our favorite moments? Watching Amaya’s sister embrace her through happy tears, a reminder that weddings aren’t just about the two people coming together, but about every relationship that helped bring them to this day.

As the sun dipped down the river, we snuck away for a few golden moments before they retuned to celebrate with the people they love most, soaking in heartfelt speeches from their sweetheart table and dancing long into the night. And somehow, we ended right where we began with a little bit of magic after dark.

Some stories have the sweetest way of coming full circle!

In 2024 I met Michael while photographing a wedding and this year, I got to watch him begin the next chapter in his own story.

Standing beneath the iconic stone arches at Mohonk Testimonial Gateway, he asked Valeria to marry him and of course, she said yes! From that unforgettable moment in the center of the gateway to twirling through wildflowers, admiring that brand-new ring, soaking in the mountain views, and simply enjoying that “we’re engaged” feeling… the joy was contagious!

Easy like a Sunday morning that you’ll want to relieve forever 🤍🥂

Granted, Daniela and Matt met me on a Saturday in May but the sentiment remains as these two turned the gardens at Caramoor into their own little getaway! From wandering through the Italian Pavilion to setting up a picnic in the Sunken Garden, this session felt effortless from beginning to end.

Not a moment was rushed. Every laugh, every glance, every walk hand in hand felt like a reminder than your engagement session doesn’t have to be about posing but can simply be about spending time together while we document what already exists.

Some wedding morning are calm. Others are electric. Bianca’s was somehow both!

From the moment we walked into the bridal suite, there was an undeniable excitement in the air. Champagne was flowing, her bridesmaids were her biggest hype team, and every touch-up, laugh, and celebratory pop of a bottle only built the anticipation for what was to come.

One of our favorite parts of this gallery has to be the first looks. Watching Bianca reveal herself to her bridal party was filled with pure joy, happy tears, and the kind of reactions every bride hopes for. And then came the moment she’d been waiting for, seeing Cole for the very first time. The nerves disappeared, the smiles took over, and everything else faded into the background.

Before the ceremony began, we couldn’t resist creating a few editorial-inspired portraits using the favors that Bianca and Cole were providing their guests to stay during their nuptials - fans! Which clearly became our favorite accessory of the day!
