After this insane whirlwind of a summer, I took the last two days off and it was LOVELY! This summer was my absolute busiest of my career and I’m so glad I survived it 🤣
A big part of this boost was joining as a service provider on AirBNB! Being a photographer that people can click on the book at the same time that they book their vacation was more successful than I ever could have imagined it would be. It brought me to some of my favorite towns multiple times, it brought me to towns I never even heard of, it brought me to the coast, it brought up in the mountains, it brought me to countless lakes, and it brought me to the some the most amazing people I’ve ever been lucky enough to meet.
So many reunions and anniversaries and milestone birthdays and just-because getaways. So many grandparents and cousins and new babies and newlyweds and siblings coming together to spend some quality time. I even had a friend group get together for a week with their kids that taught English together in Korea YEARS ago!
So many stories told of why they chose New England to escape to, how long it had been since they saw each other, how many years they’d been married, counting out how many grandkids they now have, telling me all the states their kids traveled in from, and their reason for scheduling and prioritizing a family vacation AND photos to go with it ❤️
I can’t wait to see where else this service takes me and I’m thankful to be at a point in my life where I can open myself up to so much extra travel.
Cheers to my most successful summer to date, cheers to all who helped make it happen, cheers to all 5 star reviews, and cheers to an amazing fall season to come!
But first: vacation next week 🤣
