Friendly little reminder from your photographer:

Screenshotting an image from a photographer’s website does NOT magically turn it into your photo.

Removing the watermark?
Still not your photo.

Running that screenshot through AI and altering it?
Also… still not your photo.

And doing all of that when the image was never even purchased?

That is a whole lot of extra work to avoid simply supporting the artist who actually created it.

Photographers invest in cameras, lenses, lighting, editing software, insurance, websites, education, years of experience, and countless hours creating the final images you see.

The watermark isn’t decorative.
The screenshot button isn’t a checkout button.
And AI doesn’t erase where an image came from.

If you love the photograph enough to screenshot it, remove the watermark, edit it, and post it… you probably loved it enough to purchase it in the first place. 💅📸

Support your photographers. Credit your photographers. And please don’t make us play detective with our own work.
