There’s something so special about getting to photograph a couple on their wedding day… and then getting the call to capture them in a whole new chapter. 🤍

From wedding vows to welcoming their sweet little one, I absolutely love being able to document all these different seasons of life for the families who continue to trust me with their memories. Watching your stories grow is truly one of my favorite parts of what I do.

One of the best parts of this job is getting to walk alongside families through so many of life’s milestones. Last year, I had the honor of capturing these two as they said “I do,” and this year, I got to meet and photograph their beautiful first baby. ❤️

Stepping back into sharing some recent sessions 🤍

This sweet newborn session from April was such a special one. Baby was wide awake for so much of our time together, and I honestly loved getting to capture all those curious little expressions and bright eyes. There’s something so special about awake newborn photos that tell a little more of their personality right from the start.

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately. This season has required me to spend more time focused on family and being present at home. Even during the quieter moments online, I’ve still been busy behind the scenes capturing so many beautiful memories, and I’m incredibly grateful for every family that continues to trust me with these special moments. Photo sessions aren’t always calm and quiet, and honestly? That’s real life. This session was full of three wild boys, lots of movement, and parents who felt completely defeated by the end. And I get it. Truly.

This is what I do for a living though. Finding the fleeting moments, the quick glances, the split second connections that are easy to miss in the chaos. And nothing makes me happier than delivering a gallery and watching families be shocked at how many beautiful moments came from what felt like a crazy session.

I’m a mom of three boys and one girl, so chaos is basically my life. But I also know this: there is always beauty in it. 🤍

Quietly stepping back into this space 🤍
Life has been full! Lots of kids, lots of chaos, lots of living and social media took a little back seat.

This fall family session was too good not to share. A beautiful fall day, the kind of light that makes everything feel extra warm, and a family just being themselves. These moments are why I do this.
