"When the two of us are together, the rest of the world seems to stand still. In the middle of all the excitement, all of the people, and all of the beautiful little moments that make up a wedding day, there are these quiet seconds where it feels like no one else exists."

Just these two in their own little world...seriously!

And I think that might be one of my favorite things to photograph-the way two people can somehow make an entire room, an entire celebration, yet still find these moments where time stops and they're completely present with one another.

What a beautiful day celebrating a love grounded in faith, centered on the Lord, and built on the promise of walking through this life hand in hand with Him leading the way. ✝️

There couldn't have been a more fitting place for a day this elegant than Mon Bijou-a historic 1879 mansion tucked beside Fowler Lake in Oconomowoc.

From the timeless architecture to Caitlyn in her stunning gown, every part of this day had such effortless elegance to it. And then there were all of her ladies beside her in the most beautiful shades of blue-the perfect touch of color. 💙

The name of this venue translates to "My Jewel," and it truly felt like one for Caitlyn + Derek's wedding day.✨
