Snuck a few of my garden cherry tomatoes into the BLT salad I’m preparing for a funeral luncheon tomorrow. Something about using homegrown ingredients just feels a little extra thoughtful.

My kids, of course, think the real salad is Oreo fluff. 😅
I remember when I was little, my mom once told me she always brought Jell-O salad to potlucks because “kids deserve something they’ll eat too.” That’s stuck with me.
