NHS hosted the festival auditions in NYC and I’ll say a few hittas came out. Artists that travelled from out of state, other boroughs, rappers / singers, it was a cool vibe. Shoutout to for booking with New Heat Studios 🔥

New Heat Studios has existed at 2 Prince St for over 5 years! In all this time, I know more about the staff and management than the tenants. I’ve learned a long time ago that building community in spaces that don’t have it is a currency of its own. I care about what I’ve built here and as I see things change around me, I took it upon myself to make some needed changes myself.

I hosted a building mixer on Thursday for tenants and guests alike to come together and network. The few ppl that came were studio owners, musicians and engineers. As we chat about our experiences in the industry and the building, I realized how much we all needed this connection. Now I have links in the building, other countries and more confidence to keep making my own rules to make my environment more beneficial to creatives and brands from all over the world!
