"MARK YOUR CALENDAR and SAVE THE DATE"for August 16th, 2025 . because Black Photographers Collective along with Jamel Shabazz, Howard T. Cash, and the Black Eyed Collective are coming back to celebrate our 2nd annual
"WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY DAY" on the steps of the Brooklyn Museum. This will be followed by a reception at the Dr. Ronald McNair park around the corner. We had such a fantastic time networking with you all last year, we figure why not do it again. This event is for all creatives in front and behind the lens. Do spread the word with other photography creators, as we'd love to meet them, and are looking forward to seeing you there again.

Tomorrow is the kickoff for Black Photographers Collective solo exhibition: "BLACK LIFE" exhibiting February 2 to March 8. As the start of Black History Month, the exhibition features a wide range of cultural experiences from the vibrant and colorful Omo Tribes of Ethiopia to the lively rhythms of Afro-Cuban citizens in Havana, iconic neighborhoods of Harlem and dynamic Black communities in Brooklyn. Come and explore our Black Heritage with us as we celebrate our strength, beauty and resilience through the lens during this Black History Month.

OPENING RECEPTION: Fri. Feburary 2nd 4-7 pm
ARTIST TALK: Fri. February 16th 4-6 pm
