Hey all - to accompany the print edition, I'm releasing the PDF of the magazine for free here. A ton of work went into it and it's fascinating, so please check it out!

As part of the Close to Home Photography Salon, we just released our first zine with photographs taken entirely in parking lots and gas stations.

The magazine consists of 122 pages, 3 features, and 128 photographs by 64 photographers from around the world. There is a combined feature of historic gas station photos from photographer and former NYC taxi driver Matt Weber in the ‘80s and Farm Security Administration photographer John Vachon, from the ‘40s. And the final feature is photos from the Speedway project.

Just released! LOT: The Parking Lot & Gas Station

As part of the Close to Home Photography Salon, we just released our first zine with photographs taken entirely in parking lots and gas stations. I know that might sound a little banal, but I promise it turned out fascinating.

The zine is being sold for cost and it consists of 122 pages (it’s more like a book), 3 features, and 128 photographs by 64 photographers from around the world. There is a combined feature of historic gas station photos from photographer and former NYC taxi driver Matt Weber in the ‘80s and Farm Security Administration photographer John Vachon, from the ‘40s. And the final feature is about my Speedway project.
