So happy the warm, summer nights are making their return. Liz and Parth met me in the city last night for a warm and breezy stroll around the town. We started outside the library and wandered down the mall and onto Public Square. Sundays in the city can be so quiet and feel so intimate. I’m really looking forward to their wedding next month.

A wedding full of genuine, loving moments. That’s what Cecilia + Eric wanted, and they succeeded! Every detail was thoughtfully pieced together and family woven throughout. Her gown was lovingly stitched by her best friend’s Mom with the finest silks and fabrics from Paris. Her florals and invitations gathered and designed by Cecilia’s Father. Family and friends buzzing about, setting things up all morning. Truly a labor of love.

I was so happy that we had sunny skies for Cecilia and Eric’s engagement session. And their adorable pup Sophie came along to watch while we wandered the gardens on a chilly Sunday afternoon. I just love when people bring their dogs. We are two weeks away from this sweet couples wedding day! I’m so excited for them and I can’t wait to capture all the love and joy they will experience on their day!

Photographing seniors is always humbling for me. These girls know how to pose themselves without me even asking. This beautiful girl was so fun and so sweet while we wandered the very crowded museum of art grounds and the headed to her school for some more personalized images. Which one is your favorite?

I love a good cake…cutting!

Some couples choose to do a private cake cutting often during dinner with no big announcement that it’s even happening.
Other, couples opt to cut their cake right after they’re introduced into their reception, while family and friends surround them.
And sometimes, couples bypass the entire event and treat guests to cupcakes, pies and even s’mores!
