Finally sharing some photos back from my first wedding shot entirely on 35mm film. I remember when Christopher Duggan invited me to second shoot solely on film, I felt equally excited and nervous. I had just gotten a new 35mm camera and hadn’t used it that much yet.
Film has been a medium I’ve wanted to make a larger part of my work for a long time. Analog media is something I value even outside of photography - those who know me well know the sanctity I ascribe to my vinyl collection.
This was my chance to put all my practice to the test. The day itself was so stunning, and I desperately wanted to capture every detail and moment with the care it deserved.
When I received the scans, a huge wave of relief washed over me. The photos felt so aligned with the exact type of work I want to continue creating!
I hope when you view them you can experience some of the beauty, energy, and pure love radiating from this day! I am deeply thankful to Christopher for trusting me, giving me the space to create, and for his encouragement!
