Careful… this guy is dangerous. You never know what he’s got up his sleeve. It could be the foreclosure on your family home... OR... an ancient relic of a cell phone. How does he get by in the corporate world these days? 🤔 Oh wait… he doesn’t… because he’s an actor.. and a house painter. Oh and did I mention he’s a New England Surf Legend? Dude’s the man! Either way my Uncle Stan will slay you with his incredible and boisterous laugh. Spoiler alert: it runs in the family. ⠀

Sometimes it’s the unexpected moments that capture something unique. This was taken while I was testing out the light and exposure, but Stan was already there with the camera and me. These happy accidents are my favorite part about what I do. When all the elements align in some way that’s a bit out of my control, and they create a special moment that could never happen again.⠀

Another important person in my life is my Uncle Stan. This man has been one of the few consistent father figures throughout my life, and I can’t thank him enough for all of the things he’s taught me. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for his steadfast guidance and outlandish sense of humor. I was so happy that he and my Aunt wanted to come all the way down to NYC from New Hampshire to do a headshot session with me. We had an awesome day and got some great shots for his portfolio with 🤗 More to come!⠀

It can be really beneficial to have different styles of headshots and portraits in your portfolio. You never know what might catch the eye of a casting director, and agents always need different images to showcase your personality and make you stand out from the rest. ⠀

Here’s one of the more traditional headshots I took of Dave. We had a lot of fun making subtle shifts in facial expression and got some great results! I love how bright and captivating his eyes are, adding to the warmth and welcoming nature of his face. 🤩 💕 It’s all about the details, people!⠀

This is Dave. You might not guess it from this photo, but Dave is a brilliant writer, talented Improvisor, and kickass Film/TV Production Wizard, he is also one of my best friends. I thought I’d share some of these photos we took one day while doing some lighting tests. He even brought his favorite toy gun to comment on the hunting culture in his home state of New Hampshire, which he loves so dearly. JK, I don’t think he cares that much either way about hunting. But long story short, we had a good time. If you ever want to bring a ridiculous prop to your headshot session, feel free and I’ll take a beautiful portrait of you with it, like this one.
