With the closure of our ShikkariCon venue and unable to find a new one, ShikkariCon is badly in need of help to recover from 2025's con expenses. Once we're back to a comfortable level of debt we'll be able to plan another event, possibly before the end of this year, and get back to giving Plymouth Meeting families the fun weekend they deserve.

Long Island Cherry Blossom Festival - Sakura Matsuri is this Sunday and we're looking for cosplayers for our annual Cosplay Fashion Show! The cosplays don't need to be made by the cosplayers. We want to show the audience examples of cosplay with anime/manga characters.

It's simple. Miss Cheng will announce your preferred name, any social media names, character and fandom. Then you'll walk on stage, make a few poses for pictures, and walk off. Then return for group photos.

This will be in the theater and we'll have a band perform prior to it with them, hopefully, providing instrumental music as background for us when their set is done.

We'll have sign-ups starting at 12pm when Sakura Matsuri begins.

Good evening everyone!
Many of yall are new so welcome!
If you were part of/at the Yu Yu Hakusho AnimeNYC shoot, THANK YOU! Seeing YYH love always makes me super super happy. And to see so many cosplayers even more happy. I get so much joy being able to recreate scenes, get everyone involved and just keep the series and passion for the fandom going.

With that said, a quick piece of info for yall:

I shot some YYH at Otakon a few weeks ago. Not a lot cause I didnt run a full shoot. I spotted a group about to just take their own pics and asked to jump in. I will get those photos edited and posted tomorrow night then move on to AnimeNYC's photos.
