A way to protect

The list was long

The list was silent

People describe it today as boundaries

I realized all I wanted was time
Not a ticking clock

But a space to process
A way to strip down within time
A space to live freely

Through thought
Expression
Love

Through feeling
Through fear

I simply exist

As a feather glides through the wind
Or fish flowing through water

My caged released itself

Once told
There's an energy surrounding me

It's an understanding
That whatever's presented to me is meant to be

Embraced it for what it is
