I forgot about this photo that I took in the spring. It’s in the west village, the house they used as the exterior shot for the Cosby show. I thought it was in Brooklyn like the show said. I remember that show giving a different point of view of Brooklyn than what was shown in movies of the time. I don’t know why I keep taking photos of evil (or evil adjacent) buildings. BTKs house, Epstine’s lair, and now the facade of Cosby and the fictional Huxtables.

I forgot I took these photos in December after visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I happened to find myself across from the Epstein lair. You will see a photograph in my instagram library of the serial killer BTKs house. Same flavor of Evil in two different locations.

The new Siberia bar one week ago. I’m still slightly hungover. I used to live above the bar when it was at 40th and 9th in Hells Kitchen. Tracy Westmorland, the owner, still is the same. The consummate New Yorker.

Beautiful day at the new Calder museum in Philadelphia. Very well designed as far as exploring his work. His work is impossible in the AI llm mess of the digital world. It’s un-promptable without reference to him.

I’ve been living in Williamsburg since 2009. Every marathon is amazing and makes it one of the best vibe days of the year. In a NYC marathon there isn’t one winner, everyone wins. It’s the day that everyone cheers everyone. It is by far the best sport.

There is a sadness I feel that the East Wing is being demolished. The way visitors were led through it into the White House, the history of that building. It had a beauty that was ours as Americans.

It makes me think of the beautiful Penn Station in NYC that was knocked down in 1963 to create the disgusting MSG.

I am glad my son saw the East Wing but as I have told him, places in the world don't last. Enjoy and discover great architecture while it is here.
