Over the weekend (Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd), Bazookafest took place in Brooklyn at The Wood Shop and The Meadows. The first day featured sets from acts like Sunshine Convention, Giant Day, Sad13, Colleen Green, Cloud Nothings, Times New Viking, Lex Walton, and more. On Friday, August 14, 2026, Lyricist Lounge commemorated their 35th anniversary at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn Festival at Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park. The event featured performances by many rappers and came to an end with a closing set by Jadakiss.
