Ive been cooking a lot lately. Mostly finding random recipes and working with what I have on hand- really leaning into the idea that “There’s food at home”..
Ive truly turned into an ingredients household.
Im very pleased with how everything turned out. I love cooking, and soup season is a great excuse to try new recipes. Its edible art and its a particular kind of satisfaction when those you feed lick their plates clean.
Pictured is lentil soup, a one pot “cheater” veggie pot pie, three sisters soup, red beans and rice, homemade hummus, and peanut butter & jelly granola bars(which i almost ate all of before taking a photo)
fun fact, i made 2 versions of red beans and rice- a vegan one for me and then a batch made with Salt Pork for adrienne. I didnt taste it, but i have confirmation that it was 🔥.
Whats not pictured is the corn chowder I made. We ate that entire batch in one night it was so damn good. But it was fabulous. You had to be there.
