Today we opened a doorway to the past and closed one for the future.

The time capsule placed by the generations before us was raised, filled with memories, stories, and pieces of the world they knew. on Sunday June 6th 2026, a new capsule was lowered carrying our stories, our families, our faith, our hopes, and a little piece of who we are.

Fifty years from now, another generation will stand here and discover what we left behind. They will see how we lived, what mattered to us, and hopefully feel connected to people they may have never had the chance to meet.

The years pass, but our stories remain.
