Forever convinced that blueberry farm minis were my peak photo idea. Hi 👋🏻 Alison here!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a proper introduction around here, and since so many new faces have found my page lately, I figured it was time!

I’m a wedding + family photographer based in East Texas, and somehow this little business of mine has grown into my full-time job for over a decade now. 🥹

Most days, you can find me editing during nap time (assuming I didn’t fall asleep too 😂), running around with my toddler, answering emails with a Sonic Dr Pepper nearby, or showing up to sessions with rain boots on my feet and a camera in my hand 🤍

A few things about me:

• born and raised in Brownsboro, Texas
• married to an ag teacher (who may be returning to fire fighting soon!)
• mom to Cooper + our two pups
• former elementary teacher turned full-time photographer
• owner of The Upper Room Studio in Ben Wheeler, TX
• happiest either traveling somewhere fun, wandering around Target and/or Home Goods with my mom, or staying home in comfy clothes with my people 🥰

And photography-wise?

I photograph a little bit of everything - weddings, growing families, newborns, seniors, milestones, and all the in-between moments too. 🫶🏻

Not because I can’t “pick a niche,” but because I don’t want to. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to watch people come back year after year and getting to capture them in so many different chapters of life. Engagements photos turn into weddings, weddings turn into babies, and before long I’m photographing families I’ve known for almost a decade. That part never gets old to me. 🥲
