Between the creeks, the trees, and over 150 bird species, it’s the kind of place you can slow down and actually breathe

Perfect for a walk, a ride, or just chasing a good photo

Definitely one of College Station’s underrated spots

Fort Boggy State Park sits on the edge of the East Texas forest, surrounded by post oak, hickory, sweetgum, pecan, and elm trees. The forest floor is alive with mushrooms and insects, while wildlife like beavers, foxes, and a variety of birds bring the area to life.

Fort Boggy State Park — Centerville, Texas

Tucked away in the piney woods near Centerville, Fort Boggy State Park is one of Texas’s smaller state parks—but it packs a lot of beauty into a quiet corner of the state. Donated to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in 1985 and opened to the public in 2001, this hidden gem offers a peaceful escape into nature.

With 3.5 miles of scenic hiking trails winding through forests and around the lake, it’s perfect for stretching your legs and soaking in the landscape. The park also features cozy glamping cabins and several primitive campsites you can hike to for a more off-the-grid experience.

The lake is home to several fish species, making it a great spot to cast a line. Whether you’re fishing, kayaking, or paddleboarding, Fort Boggy is a quiet place to slow down and enjoy the outdoors. 🌲🚣‍♀️🎣

Pelican Cove located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in California. Established in 1976 as a part of the California Costal Act, with Pelican Cove being just a small part of this conservation area. The entire area stretches 1200 miles, from parts of Oregon to the Mexico boundary lines. This Act was set in place to conserve these areas from over development, as well as for nesting pelicans and other migrating birds.

One hell of a way to end my birthday trip!! Last sunset on the California Coast was AMAZING!! Can't wait to go back!

Santa Monica Pier, California. The building started in September of 1909, making it one of the first concrete pier in west coast! Then declared the official west end of the historic Route 66.

Summertime in Telluride, Colorado. Beautiful place to visit! Can not wait to go back!! Weather wasn't on our side most of the time, but it was still amazing! Even better I got to spend time with the best people!! Thank you to my family for letting me tag along!
